Description

We are offering a bench-flash delete-tune for 2013+ 3.0L Mercedes Sprinter Vans equipped with the EDC17CP57 or EDC17CP46 PCM, enabling the removal of EGR/DPF-related codes for off-road and race use. Before ordering, ensure that your vehicle's PCM matches one of the specified models. Diesel Edge will cover shipping both ways by providing a shipping label for your ECM and Adblue/SCR modules. While the shipping cost is covered, any potential broker fees, which are uncommon, will not be included.

Note: You must send both your ECM and Adblue/SCR Module to complete the process.

Model Versions Supported:

2013+ 316 CDI, 213 BlueTEC, 413 Bluetec, 513 Bluetec, 516 Bluetec, 313 Bluetec, 2013-2017 219 Bluetec, 319 Bluetec, 519 Bluetec

Power Levels Available:

Stock: No additional horsepower. Tunes maintain clean performance without noticeable smoke.

Stage 1: Adds 40HP over stock power levels while retaining clean exhaust with minimal smoke.

Stage 2: Adds 50HP over stock power levels, with some additional exhaust smoke.

Before placing an order, please verify that your PCM part number matches one of the following:
Bosch EDC16CP31
Bosch EDC17CP46
Bosch EDC17CP57
If your PCM part number is not listed, contact us with your part number before proceeding with a purchase to confirm compatibility.

Important: For a delete tune to function properly, all EGR/DPF/SCR/Adblue sensors must be disconnected, and the Adblue/SCR PCM must be removed from your vehicle.

**DO NOT install the modified ECU with the Adblue module still plugged in, as this will cause persistent error messages that cannot be cleared.**

Note: If your PCM was previously tuned, it must be restored to stock before applying the new tune, as we cannot tune over an existing tune.

After removing your PCM/ECU (or having it removed professionally), clearly label it with your order number, vehicle model, and model year before shipping. Once received, we will inspect, flash, and return your unit within 3-5 business days. We ship using express services, with delivery expected within 2-3 business days.

Preparation Checklist Before ECM Removal:

  • Clear all existing diagnostic codes.
  • Ensure no maintenance or engine warning lights are present on the dashboard.
  • If you had DEF/DPF countdown issues before tuning, clear them beforehand as they cannot be removed by tuning alone (these codes originate from the SCR module).
  • Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
  • Carefully remove the ECM from your vehicle.
